Let Me Introduce Myself!
My name is Fabio Said (pronounced 'fah-beeo sa-'eed). I am a Brazilian translator based in Rheinbach, Germany, translating from German and English into my mother tongue, which is Brazilian Portuguese. My career as a professional translator began in 1993, and since then I have worked mostly with legal and financial texts, translating documents such as license agreements, stock purchase agreements, press releases, private banking and wealth management reports, corporate newsletters, business plans and audit reports. I am also the author of articles and a book about professional translation.

Who I Am
A trained professional translator working full-time and with long-term commitment.
If you want something done right, you need a professional. That's me! I was not only trained as a translator. I also look back on 19 years' professional experience, translating within a core group of subject areas. I began translating when there was no internet and no Google, and word processors were still in their early stages. While that helped me perfect my craft, I have relied more and more on technology and the internet since then to provide the best services in the least amount of time. I invest in technical capabilities so that you can profit from my experience and expertise. I am also a member of professional associations for translators and the author of a book about the translation industry. That is how I demonstrate my long-term commitment to the translating profession. My goal is to be your preferred full-time professional translator for your strategic and sensitive documents that need a Brazilian Portuguese version.
What I Can Do For You
I am your go-to professional when it comes to competently translating your materials from either English or German into Brazilian Portuguese.
Provided, of course, I specialize in the kinds of documents that you need translated. As a professional translator committed to quality, I do not translate everything. For the past 19 years, I have specialized mostly in legal and financial texts, and I have also had extensive experience translating texts related to industrial engineering, quality management, third sector and philosophy. You can assume that my translation process includes using the correct terminology and the right language style for your texts. I rely on thousands and thousands of documents that I have translated and that are stored on my computer. I also use a comprehensive terminology database that I have built and maintained throughout the years with terms belonging to my specialty areas. All that translates into the highest quality for your written materials and your communication with Brazil.
How Much It Will Cost You
Translation projects are usually priced in terms of how many words the source text has.
But not always. Actually, I am selling my time, so I will have to review your source documents in order to find out how much time I will need to translate them. When you contact me for a price quote, you could tell me how many words your project has and in what format your documents are. But the best thing to do is to leave it with me. Send me your documents and I will review them and will get back to you to tell you how much it will cost. The pricing will be explained to you in a very clear way, and you will not have hidden costs. Please rest assured: All files and information that you send me for a quote will be handled with confidentiality.
